I ordered this in spite of all the bad reviews I seen for this product and I’m totally glad that I did. One of the main criticism was that your voice gets distorted and that the ear piece doesn’t fit very well.

    A. your voice is bound to sound different because it’s picking up the vibrations from your throat. That should have been something that everyone expected. When I used it my friends said I sounded a bit muffled but overall normal. So I didn’t mind it at all.

    B. the earpiece fit like a dream. I don’t know where people got this one. Crystal clear sound and it was not at all uncomfortable.

Aside from all of that the part that goes around your neck was not uncomfortable at all. It’s super flexible, honestly I had no complaints for this. It works great and is super convenient. I definitely recommend it.

Aside from feeling a little awkward on my throat at first, the mic is generally comfortable. As far as sound quality, I need to position the mic just right and/or speak up to be heard clearly. (This could just be the other person’s headset speaker quality). As far as being able to hear, if the mic is turned up all the way there is an annoying buzzing noise. If I turn the volume down just a little though, the buzz goes away and I can still hear just fine. The earpiece has a bit of a habit of falling out of my ear, but it isn’t too much of a problem if I don’t get too crazy.

Overall it’s a great piece of equipment for the price. I don’t have to worry about breathing into the mic and I can eat without bugging everyone else. However I can’t turn my speakers up too high without others hearing them. If you’re on the fence about getting them, do it.
