I even shot them my system specs for proof that I did not have the horsepower to run it, let alone the amount of money that would cost to build a system to their minimum specs... they said there was nothing they could do. <br /> <br />So, let me tell you... if you can just purchase the Guitar itself, do so, and leave the software to collect dust. There is a better game that you can use this guitar on called "Frets of Fire", its legally free, and it <br />will import all Guitar Hero songs into it, and it works on my system (Atholon XP 2.0 GHz) without any issues. <br /> <br />Frets works 100% with the USB GH3 guitar, and allows you to create your OWN songs. My sister had the newest, most expensive Macbook (which is a must for a religious World of Warcraft player that she was)and she sat watchting the bar go from the left to the right as it installed. She had a huge smile on her face when the "INSTALLATION COMPLETE" sign appeared. She plugged in, and fired up "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" by Pat Benetar. As that first note came glowing in she was ready. And then she missed the note. She missed the note after that, and after that, and after that. I tried it (having played it so many times at countless friends houses), and quickly became aggravated. So I tried it on my screaming fast HP laptop. It didnt work. When the requirements to run the game were checked, I realized that almost no Macs are able to run this pathetically ported game. I am angry. Now, I have to go to the post office and pay those people more than ten dollars, to return something that was supposed to work. You need a very specific computer system which is not easy to figure out unless you are an expert and believe it or not the packaging is very deceptive about that!!
